Year 6

1st April 2023

We have come to the end of a very busy term and I want to thank all the year 6 students for all their hard work throughout the term. We have looked at WW2 in detail, ending with a splendid display of WW2 cookery by the class on Wednesday this week. In science we have looked at the colour spectrum. This refers to the colours of the rainbow which are all present in light. We studied how Isaac Newton was able to separate the colours of light using a triangular prism. In English we concluded a task on journalistic writing. Maths lessons were on the relationship between fractions, decimals and percentages. The two weeks of Easter mark a well deserved rest and we hope they will all come back ready for the final term of the academic year.
