What a start to the second half of the term Year 5 have had! The children co created our assembly and spoke so eloquently, with wonderful narration, skits, singing and dancing! I
This week we planned, wrote and performed our own versions of the Windrush Child poem and we also shared our Black History Month learning in assembly. In Science, we have been diving into our topic on Forces and had a wonderful lesson where we tested gravity and air resistance by dropping various items from the balcony to see how long they would take to reach the ground!
We also had a fabulous project showcase to celebrate the History work that your children have been doing at home. Thank you to those of you who supported your child with their learning at home and attended the showcase to hear them present their projects to you. It is such a meaningful experience for the children and they really value your presence.
