Year 5 - Braeburn History
This week, Year 5 delved into the history of how Braeburn has grown, from its early days to the school we know today. A standout moment was an online interview with the first-ever PE teacher, now based in Sri Lanka, who shared interesting memories and inspiring stories about the school’s beginnings.
We also connected History Week with our English lessons, where we wrote instructional texts inspired by a heartfelt letter from the first Deputy Headteacher, now leading at another Braeburn school in Kenya. It’s been a week of learning, creativity, and discovering our school's roots, leaving us proud to be part of Braeburn's legacy!
