Year 4

3rd February 2024

We are excited to share the incredible experience our Year 4 students had on their recent day trip to Lily Flowers Garden. The outing was not just a day of fun but also an educational journey into the fascinating world of non-flowering and flowering plants.

The day began with eager faces and a sense of curiosity as our students stepped into the enchanting world of nature. The Flower Garden, with its vibrant colours and fragrant blooms, provided the perfect backdrop for our young botanists to explore and discover the wonders of plant life.

Our budding scientists had the opportunity to delve into the realm of non-flowering plants. They explored the fascinating world of ferns and mosses learning about their unique characteristics and vital roles in the environment. Of course, a visit to the Flower Garden would not be complete without a deep dive into flowering plants. Students were captivated by the array of colours and shapes, discovering the different parts of a flower and understanding the process of pollination.
