Diving into the World of Science.

One of the highlights of this week has been our exploration of various science topics, and the one that truly caught our attention was the fascinating concept of the food chain. We have all been curious and inquisitive, trying to answer the questions about ‘What is a food chain, and how does it work in ecosystems?’

But that is not all, we had a chance to put our knowledge into practice. We were thrilled to create an artefact about the food chain, which is now displayed on our science display board. This hands-on activity allowed us to visually represent the concept and share our understanding with everyone.

STEAM Project: Exploring East Africa.

For the past five weeks, we have been fully engaged in our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) project. Our task was to create a 3D model showcasing both physical and human features found in East Africa, connecting our lessons with geography.

The most exciting part was when we got to present our 3D models to Year 5 and 6 students. It was an opportunity to showcase what we have learned and it was a moment of pride for all of us. We were able to demonstrate that we are responsible citizens who challenge ourselves and each other to do our best in our learning.
