Year 3

1st July 2024

Year 3 2024

The highlight of the last half term was our residential trip to Saadani National Park. I am proud to say that all students who went on a trip displayed good behaviour and manners. In addition, they proved to be independent and strong boys and girls, who are able to take care of themselves away from home. The bond between the students has become stronger during the trip, as they learnt how to take care and support each other.

The final two weeks of this academic year are filled with various activities and this week, the students enjoyed Swahili Cultural Day. They were engaged in various activities related to Swahili culture, such as traditional games, dance, henna and crafts. Furthermore, the students learnt more about the history of Swahili language and culture. Later during the day, the whole school had fun participating in the inter-house relay, with the route to run around the campus.

It is hard to believe that the year has come to an end and what a great year it has been!

Next week will be the final week of Year 3 so we will be reflecting on what has been learned and achieved. I am confident to say that all Year 3 students are ready for their new chapter in Year 4, which will be Upper school. They are also excited that their new classroom will be upstairs!

I wish Year 3 students all the success and many wonderful accomplishments and experiences in Year 4. It was a joy and a privilege to be their teacher this year!
