Year 2

18th May 2024

Year 2 has been as busy as ever lately with lots of making, interviewing, doing and dancing!

Highlights include: Speaking to the author R Mabala on Braeburn Book Week. The children listened respectfully and asked interesting questions to Mr Mabala. International Dance Day was a chance to show our dazzling dance moves- we even managed to link dance to our fractions learning in Maths! We enjoyed interviewing Mr Treacher this week to find out more about life in London- which we have been learning about in Geography lessons. The children’s planning and creativity skills have been shining in STEAM lessons where they have been creating dioramas of different habitats! With just a handful of weeks left in Year 2 it is a reflective time to think about all we have achieved and also looking forward with enthusiasm to Year 3. We hope you enjoyed our assembly on Friday and learned a little something about the importance of the growth mindset!
