It has been an exciting week in Year 1 as our young explorers delved into the vast universe of space exploration! Inspired by the remarkable journey of Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon, our students have been engaged in a range of hands-on activities, immersive learning experiences, and captivating discoveries.

In English, our students had the opportunity to delve into the lives of pioneering figures such as Neil Armstrong and Mae Jemison. Through research and writing, they gained insights into the remarkable achievements and contributions of these space explorers. It was inspiring to witness their enthusiasm as they created biographies detailing the accomplishments of these significant individuals.

In Maths, our young mathematicians embraced the challenge of understanding even and odd numbers. Through interactive games and engaging activities, they developed a solid grasp of this fundamental concept. Their enthusiasm for learning was truly commendable, as they eagerly tackled each mathematical task with determination and curiosity.
