This term, our Secondary Band embarked on a thrilling journey of exploration, delving into new instruments and the vibrant world of reggae music. Guided by the timeless tunes of the reggae legend, Bob Marley, our students dived into classic hits.
Our students had the fantastic opportunity to showcase their newfound skills during International Day. With renditions of iconic pieces like "No Woman No Cry" and "Three Little Birds," they truly captivated the audience and spread the joy of music.
Through the peripatetic music program offered by Kuvecha Kids, our band members were able to try out new instruments that they had an interest in. Angelina in Year 10 had a go at trying out the Bass Guitar for the first time. Savannah in Year 10 also experimented with the Bass Guitar and the Violin.
We would love to welcome more students into our band next term. We have exciting plans, including preparing pieces for the school production. With each new addition, our musical family grows stronger, and we can't wait to see what the future holds.
