Textbook Donations

Braeburn Dar has a strong community ethos, where we actively encourage students as well as staff to serve the community at large. With the purchase of new textbooks to meet new curriculum changes in Primary and Secondary school, we had a large stockpile of a few hundred textbooks to donate to a school in need. Our Earlyact/Interact students worked hard to not only organise, but also count and record each textbook over a 2 week period.
This past week, these books were taken to a local school in the Magomeni Area, Turiani Secondary School. Mr Peter, the school driver, along with Ms Faraja, our Admin Secretary, delivered the books to a very appreciative Ms Mabusi, the Head of Turiani. We look forward to meeting Ms Mabusi in person in a few weeks time during our Earlyact/Interact meeting to discuss ways to partner with and serve the students at Turiani.
