As we look ahead to a sport-filled term, we have an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the achievements and successes of last term. Our basketball teams were out in full force, with squads ranging from U9 to U18 enjoying varying levels of success at tournaments held at IST and HOPAC. Notable performances came from our U15 girls and U11 boys teams.
On the football pitch, our teams competed in a number of fixtures both home and away, representing Braeburn with pride. Last term also saw the emergence of our senior volleyball teams, with in-school competitions as well as home and away fixtures taking place.
In the pool, we had another action-packed term, with students achieving personal bests and developing their swimming across all levels. Particular mention must go to the swimmers who attended a gala in Mwanza over the holiday, where they all represented Braeburn extremely well.
We also held inter-house competitions in matball and basketball, with all of our students actively participating and enjoying the opportunity to represent their houses.
Well done to all our students for their efforts last term – we look forward to another sport-filled and exciting term ahead.
