Over the last 3 weeks the year 8s have had the homework task of designing a house to keep the heat in. This has been new to them as houses in Tanzania are designed to reduce the heat inside.
The students produced some excellent houses and were able to explain their house features to the class. These included draught free windows, insulated walls and hot water cylinders.
