PHYSICAL EDUCATION

23rd March 2024

We've had another busy week in the PE department, with our U13 and U15 boys and girls participating in weekend basketball tournaments at IST, alongside our busy curriculum being delivered on-site. KS3 students continue to develop their skills across basketball, touch rugby, and volleyball, and there is clear progress being seen as we approach the end of term 2. We've witnessed full 6-aside volleyball matches taking place, as well as structured touch rugby games. Credit must go to the students who have approached their learning with maturity and diligence over the last few weeks.

KS4 students have been building towards IGCSE moderation day, prepping skills and performances in a wide range of sports for assessment of practical ability. Congratulations are in order for our U13 basketball players who competed well last Saturday at IST, with the girls reaching the semi-finals and the boys putting in a fine showing despite being down several players. Well done to all involved, and good luck to our U15s who are competing this weekend.
