PHYSICAL EDUCATION

24th April 2023

Last term, students were involved in basketball, rounders and dance. The basketball and matball teams showed tremendous spirit and enthusiasm during the inter-house events. The matball and basketball games were highly competitive, and the students displayed excellent sportsmanship. We were impressed by the high level of skill and teamwork shown by all the teams. The inter-school basketball tournament was also a success, with our school team performing exceptionally well and finishing in the top four with the U13 girls bringing home the runners up trophy.

This term, our focus will be on touch rugby. Touch rugby is a fast-paced, non-contact sport that emphasises skill, speed and agility. Students will have the opportunity to develop their ball handling, passing and dodging skills, as well as their ability to work as a team. We will be organising inter-house tournaments to provide opportunities for students to put their newly acquired skills into practice.

We believe that participating in physical activities is essential for a well-rounded education. It helps students develop physical fitness, social skills, and character. We encourage all students to participate in physical activities and to be part of their school teams.

We look forward to another exciting term in Physical Education and wish all students a successful and enjoyable term ahead.
