Number Day

We had a fantastic first ever Braeburn Dar Es Salaam Number Day on Wednesday. It was wonderful to see how creative the children (and some of you parents too!) when it came to creating number themed clothes for your children to wear.
We discussed how Maths is everywhere and throughout the day, the children stuck post it notes all around to demonstrate how everything really is linked to maths - buildings need angles, benches need measurements, even to get to school we use maths to know what time it is!
The children had a great day filled with activities, games and problem solving.
