MUN

3rd February 2024

On Saturday 20th January, seven students were specially selected to attend the MUN conference at Dar Es Salaam Academy. These students have shown incredible commitment and aptitude for debating, problem solving and knowledge of the current and past affairs of the nation states that make up the UN. Despite horrendous weather conditions all but one student were able to get to the event and represent Braeburn School at the very quick but constructive conference. Well done to Jade, Highness, Brianna, Iris, Angelique and Sabrina for contributing your ideas, constructing plausible resolutions and effectively debating on the issues outlined on the day. A special mention to Jade who was acknowledged by her committee leaders as an outstanding delegate for Colombia when discussing the issue of conflict in Sudan. We are also grateful to DIA for hosting the well organised event. We look forward into the future for the MSMUN on the 16th March and the DARMUN on the 25th and 26th March, both held by IST.
