Mathematics

4th March 2023

It has been a buzzing term, a lot has been happening and the kids are excited and kept busy either by learning something new in maths, being challenged or by competitions. The year 7 group have been learning about angles, they discovered, learned and challenged each other on how to use a full protractor to find angles. They could measure and draw different types of angles. The Pangea Maths competition also involved students across the secondary school. They took part in two online competitions against other schools across the globe and managed to earn many certificates. Some students are invited to attend the final round in Berlin, Germany this May. Pi Day is also around the corner, and we have lined up a number of fun inter-house activities. Maths is fun!
