Lower School

Happy new year! Despite the wet and thundery weather, some of the children of Lower School have battled the elements to make it into school for this short 2-day week.
These conditions are perfect for Year 1, who kicked off their learning about Weather in Geography. Here they are in their role play corner, full of fantastic props to fuel the imagination and develop their understanding and vocabulary.
Year 2 are excited to start learning about India and have already enjoyed trying on Indian outfits, exploring rupees and getting inspired by this interesting country. Here they are reviewing 2-digit numbers in Swahili by playing a fun dice game.
Year 3 have started learning about mountain ranges and have enjoyed cosying up with a good book in the library in this cool, wet weather.
We are all excited to begin Term 2 and are eager to see all the wonderful things we will achieve.
