Interact Club

16th June 2024

The Braeburn Dar annual Albinism Awareness Week is an important time to raise awareness about the genetic condition that affects over 40,000 people in Tanzania. As people with albinism are often shunned and attacked by society, it is vitally important to spread truth and information and raise a generation who will help protect people with albinism. The learners in Secondary took part in a sponsored football event as well as welcoming visitors from Under the Same Sun, our partner charity. The discussions around albinism will certainly help us all to grow as effective, global citizens who can make a change for the better.
