In School Activities

24th June 2023

We had a great selection of fun activities this week with the remaining children that did not attend trips. Monday began with some tie dye and fabric painting. We played around with creating designs and patterns on fabric before heading off to do some ICT fun! In the afternoon we had a percussionist come in and do a rhythm workshop with the students. Tuesday saw us dancing away African style with an outside artist. We learned a cool routine which got our hearts pumping! To follow, tricky tessellation tasks and problem solving STEM challenges! Finally the day ended with a scavenger hunt that got the students racing around in teams trying to find various objects around school. Wednesday morning was spent chilling out at Slipway and having some free time shopping, eating and chatting. When we got back board games and cards came out. Thursday was a day in the primary and early years section of the school getting some classroom experience with the younger ones. The afternoon was more relaxed, with a movie and quiz. Friday we joined the primary school in a big beach cleanup down at the whitesands road beach area. The week ended with outdoor games and sports. What a fantastic week we've had!
