This term, our humanities students have been making fantastic progress across history, geography, and sociology. We want to celebrate their dedication and update you on what they’ve been learning.

History Highlights

Year 7 – The Crusades
Clement, Oshumu, and Isabelle have written outstanding essays on Saladin and impressed with their insightful class discussions.

Year 8 – African History
Mulkia has shown excellent commitment by always completing homework, while Giovanni’s deep knowledge—from Kanem-Bornu to the Mali Empire—has stood out.

Year 9 – Russian Revolution (1905-1916)
Hayaam, Sabrina, LJ, and Gloria have written exceptional essays analyzing the political problems of this turbulent period.

Year 10 – The Impact of War on Nazi Support
A big well done to Alvin for scoring 21/25 on the latest assessment!

Geography Achievements

Year 10 – Haytham and Leon achieved the highest scores in the class, while Stacey and Nayla have shown impressive improvement in urbanisation topics.

Year 11 – Students are now finishing Theme 3 of the IGCSE Cambridge Geography course. Special mention to Alysha and Angelique for their dedication in attending intervention sessions.

Sociology Success

Year 10 – Heri continues to shine with a brilliant presentation on education patterns in Tanzania, using quantitative data to analyze trends by area and gender.

Year 11 – Angelina and Savannah both earned A*s in their mock exams! As they revisit the course in preparation for final exams, all students are working hard to include theorists in their essays and tackle challenging 12-mark research design questions.

We are incredibly proud of our students' achievements and their enthusiasm for learning. Keep up the hard work.
