FS1 & FS2

FS1 and FS2 have been busy as ever, enjoying the various whole school theme days such as World Ocean Day, Mental Health Week and Fair Trade Day. There has been some impressive focused play happening and personal and social skills have been progressing as our confident individuals grow.
FS1 have been working on their speech and language, thinking about words that rhyme, how to segment short words and sound them out, and trying to hear the initial sounds in words.
FS2 have been continuing their writing journey and each wrote their own version of a story called Campy the Magical Dog. They enjoyed showing Ms Kemp the final version. They have also been busy enjoying their transition activities with Year 1 for their move to primary school in August.
The children are now getting ready for an assembly each and it is wonderful to see them so engaged and keen to perform in front of an audience.
