FS1 & FS2

14th February 2023

What a lovely few weeks we have had in our class. Linking with our two theme books ‘Hug’ and ‘Brown Bear Brown Bear what do you see’ we have had lots of animal activities taking place.

The role play area turned into an Animal Hospital which has proved very popular and patients have been attended to by our doctors and nurses!

FS1 have been making lots of progress with their speaking and listening skills - building on their vocabulary and confidence to speak in front of their peers.

FS2 are showing impressive skills in phonics and are now able to write short sentences using finger spaces!

Outdoor learning has been as popular as ever with the sandpit being turned into an ice cream shop! Scooping, sprinkling and sampling the delicious desserts! Yummy!

We look forward to some exciting events next half term after a restful week off.
