Fair Trade Day

We had a great time celebrating Fair Trade Day last week. The children learned about the importance of fair trade and how it impacts farmers. They bought locally sourced fresh produce and used them in science, mathematics and cooking activities. Their learning was also documented on our Fair Trade board where they re-created its logo and shared their thoughts on this topic. It reinforced the need of being a responsible citizen in the global community, a value which is deeply embedded in our Braeburn Circles.
