This week everyone in Early Years has been busy preparing for our focus on ‘The Gruffalo’ during Braeburn Book Week.
We have been exploring the book and learning about all the wonderful characters involved in this beautiful story. The students have made crafts representing this, to help decorate the main FS1/FS2 classroom with images of the mouse, owl, snake, fox and of course the gruffalo! We are really excited about all The Gruffalo themed activities we are going to enjoy throughout next week.
During the last two Friday lunchtimes, we have welcomed a few Year 6 students to the Early Years garden. Our students have enjoyed playing with their new older friends and now really look forward to Friday lunchtime!
Next Friday, apart from enjoying our Costume Parade, we are also looking forward to welcoming our Mummies and Daddies into school to join us in our ‘Stay and Play’ session.
