Early Years Gardening Trip

Early Years enjoyed a fun day out in the garden of Sifa Threads at Africana. We were taught some gardening skills by Apollo including how to prepare a pot with soil and manure, how to plant seeds and how to look after and water them. We planted some green pepper seeds and potted our own flowers to bring home.
We enjoyed spending time in the play area and challenged ourselves on the climbing wall! We returned to school with a copy of Apollo’s children’s book which we enjoyed reading.
