Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Bronze Award!

We’re thrilled to share the wonderful experiences our students have embarked upon as they pursue the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Bronze Award! This award is an internationally recognized program that challenges young people to grow in confidence, resilience, and teamwork through physical, skill-based, and service activities. For our students, it’s a chance to step outside their comfort zones, develop new skills, and make lasting memories with friends.

To earn the Bronze Award, our students are dedicated to achieving goals in four key areas: volunteering, developing a skill, taking part in a physical activity, and completing an adventurous journey. Recently, our Bronze Award students had an exciting training session on Saturday, where they learned essential outdoor skills like pitching tents and preparing their own meals. The teamwork was fantastic! Our boys took charge of making delicious hot dogs, while others enjoyed preparing Udon noodles, bringing everyone together for a memorable and delicious meal.

One student who deserves special mention is Angelina. She has consistently uploaded her progress evidence, working hard toward her running goals and setting an inspiring example for others with her dedication and enthusiasm.

Looking ahead, we’re eagerly preparing for our upcoming adventurous journeys. In the coming months, after the Christmas holidays, students will have the chance to trek through the beautiful landscapes of Pugu Hills and later in the year, the Uluguru Mountains. These trips will include hiking through lush forests, camping under the stars, and practicing the skills they’ve learned along the way.

We can’t wait to see what our students will accomplish next, and we’re so proud of their commitment to achieving the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. Let’s keep cheering them on as they reach new heights.
