Welcome to the chemistry department. We are excited to see what students can do in the laboratories as they learn chemistry. It is inspiring to look back and see all that chemistry students have accomplished over the term. Our year 10 students learnt one of the most challenging yet interesting topics in chemistry. They covered quantitative chemistry and they can now apply the knowledge of mathematics and chemistry to carry out calculations related to the Mole Concept. Finally, they were able to carry out experiments that involved scientific investigation to determine the concentration of solutions, famously known as titration. Students in KS3 also joined the excitement and took part in the process.
