Business Study Tour to ABSA Bank TZ. Limited
The Year 10 and 11 business students had the privilege of visiting ABSA Bank, located at Slipway, to gain a deeper understanding of the finance industry. The chief customer representative explained to us how banks operate, the various types of accounts they offer, the functioning of ATMs, and the convenience of withdrawing cash from the ATM using the ABSA mobile app. We also learned about the crucial importance of maintaining confidentiality in banking and the wide range of services they provide. This visit proved to be a highly enriching experience, and it has inspired me to consider a career in banking in the future.

Year 10 and 11 Trip to ABSA LTD
This Wednesday, Year 10s and 11s visited one of ABSA LTD's major branches. During this trip, we learned about the differences between credit and debit cards and their respective uses, the various types of accounts available, and the significance of finance in today's world. We also explored how interest rates fluctuate and how the bank can securely store your valuable assets, including jewellery, gold bars, money, and even technology. Ensuring the safety of citizens' assets and information is one of ABSA's primary missions, achieved by having all employees dealing with sensitive information sign a customer confidentiality contract. This trip provided a fantastic introduction to the finance topic currently being studied by Year 11 students, offering a practical insight into the world of finance.
