The Model United Nations Club is currently preparing for an exciting milestone: hosting Braeburn’s very first MUN conference, BraeMUN, set to take place this September.
Last term, students presented their vision for the conference to Mr Treacher and Mrs Bishop, who were highly impressed by the ambition, professionalism and thoughtful planning behind the project. Since then, students have been working hard behind the scenes, organising the conference theme, logistics and promotional plans, all of which will be shared with the community over the coming weeks and months.
The chosen theme for the conference is Paratus Servare, meaning “always prepared to preserve.” This motto reflects a commitment to responsibility, sustainability and readiness to promote environmentally conscious practices, not only throughout the conference itself, but also among all delegates attending.
