BDIS BOOK WEEK
BDIS Book Week was a huge success filled with exciting activities that brought the joy of reading to life! Students had the chance to meet an inspiring author and participate in the always popular 'Drop Everything and Read' sessions. Our classrooms turned creative as students decorated doors based on their favourite books and took part in story-completion exercises. Outdoor fun included writing book reviews in the sunshine and crafting unique bookmarks.
The highlight of the week, however, was having members of the administration staff and a parent join in to read stories to students creating a warm and engaging atmosphere. The week wrapped up with a fantastic book character costume parade where students dressed as their favourite literary characters, bringing the magic of stories to life! It was a week to remember celebrating the joy and creativity that books bring to our lives.
