Some of our U16 girls football team joined up with U16 girls from Braeburn Arusha to attend the World Schools games football tournament in Barcelona during the mid term break. The girls performed exceptionally well working hard to grow as a team and finished 2nd place overall. It was a fantastic opportunity for the girls to play against teams from all over the world. I was so proud of the girls, the football they played and how they represented Braeburn. We were the highest scoring African team to ever play in this tournament, an outstanding achievement. Huge congratulations to Hayaam, Shannen, Nemaiyian from year 9 and to Michelle from year 8.
