We have had a busy week this week in the Art room. Year 7 are working on galaxy paintings using watercolour and paint splattering. Year 8 are completing some work focusing on doodle art in a graffiti urban art style. Year 9 have just selected their options, and have started a new project on monster and dragon eyes in digital artwork. We are drawing out ideas for our own dragon eye painting, which later we will take into clay tile relief. We are focusing on psychedelic colours, texture and shape. Year 10 are making metamorphosis head busts which combine human plant and animal features. We are building these sculptures using plaster of paris.
