ART CLUB
Art Club at BDIS secondary section is for everyone as long as they have a passion for art! There is no need for artistic talent or skill. The purpose of the art club is to provide students who have an interest in art an opportunity to explore art, craft, and design forms beyond what is offered in the curriculum. It gives students the opportunity to work individually and in groups. It is open to Year 7 - 11 students and helps to foster good working relationships among students. Students have been experimenting with a number of materials, media, and techniques to create their artworks individually or in groups. Some of the members participated in the Braeburn Doodle Inter-House Art Contest. Members also explored paper cut-out art and sculpting while using the paper mache technique.
